Name one fighter in the game today that has done what Canelo has done

I'm not even a big Canelo fan but I'm tired of people making it seem like he's the problem with the sport. They're doing the same thing with him as they did with Floyd. Canelo, like Floyd, is bringing more attention to the sport than any other fighter out there. I think he picked Smith because Smith was the easiest fight to make since the other 154lb champs are with Haymon. But the Smith fight was a legit fight. Two guys in the same weight class fighting for a title. People rave about these young and upcoming fighters like Spence, Lomachenko, Usyk, Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Thurman, Porter, Crawford, R. Gonzalez, Kovalev, etc. Do ya'll realize Canelo is younger than all of them?!?!?!?

Canelo made a sacrifice in weight to take on Mayweather. Canelo fought Trout coming off Trout's dominant win over Cotto. Canelo took the Lara fight which was very high risk and very low reward and nobody but the boxing purist were calling for that fight. Canelo took the B-side against Cotto even though he was the bigger draw. I wish more fighters today was like Canelo. Name one fighter today in the game that's made more sacrifices than Canelo.

Give up his belt without a fight. I've never heard of such a thing.

Saunders, Jacob and Eubank did what Alvarez has done. You mean avoid Golovkin, right?

If Canelo became pro at 15, great for him, very brave indeed, but if you live in a country with a good amateur program for the best fighters in the country, why you wouldn't stay amateur before you are ready?
So i think that Canelo becoming pro at 15 was a brave decision, but nothing to brag about because if lived in a country with a good amateur program he probably wouldn't have made that decision.
Canelo made a sacrifice of 2 pounds to fight Mayweather, it's not like he was Khan against him or Brook against Golovkin, kinda weakened him, but he never had a great stamina and would have been schooled even with that 2 pounds.
He picked Smith because he was the easiest fight, so nothing to discuss here and i believe it was a better fight on the paper than most people.
Why he was the b-side on the Cotto fight?.
The Trout and Lara fights weren't risky fights, they weren't to knocking him out and there wasn't a chance of them winning by points.
He can be 26, 49 or 17, if you are saying you are the best boxer in the WORLD, you should fight the best, that's it, if he wants to fight low level fights, he can go and sign with Al Haymon and become Danny Garcia 2.0, but if he keeps saying that he is that good, he can prove it and if you think that his age is that much a factor, at 26, Sugar Ray Leonard, Julio Cesar Chavez, Mike Tyson, Oscar Dela Hoya, Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones and Manny Pacquiao, all the best fighter of their time, did have better wins that Canelo.

Rid**** Bowe literally threw his wbc belt in a trash can only to avoid a fight with Lennox Lewis, but his legacy will be hurt forever by that decision.
