It's the same as when Mayweather was the talk of the town.

I bunk a big difference is there wasn't the obsession that there is with GGG. Yeah Mayweather had a lot of haters, but those people would actually contribute to other threads. These GGG haters only have one purpose and that's to spam the forum with the same ****ty threads everyday.

He symbolizes the foreign takeover spreading across all divisions.

They would rationalize LW/CW/HW as "unskilled big bums, all the slick blacks went to the NBA". fighters like GGG, Lomachenko etc create a problem.

I remember how much they hated Canelo (about the same amount) before he became a rival to Golovkin. Then Canelo became God (because he already lost to Floyd).

A lot of these people have never traveled further than a few blocks from home and their folk heroes are tyson ali etc. It creates a serious emotional problem for them in ways that may seem funny to you and I. But for them it's real.

Nelo has the opportunity to expose GGG for the hypejob he is at any point but chooses not to.
So the critics need to be patient and stop being so butthurt that GGG is so highly rated in the meantime

It's really quite sick. Some of the people on here are the type I would expect to be climbing over celebrities fences so they can try and sniff their clothes or something.

            Obsessed fkn weirdos.

                Well put...

I find it more cringe-worthy than anything else. As i type this now, there are 14 different GGG threads on the front page.

The guys who are constantly making the threads or turning non GGG threads into GGG threads, if you look at their post history, they don't post about anything else but GGG.
They literally haven't posted about anything else in months. Nothing about upcoming fights. Nothing about fighters they like or enjoy. Nothing positive about the sport. Just GGG constantly..not even constructive criticism, or debate, just hate.

They spend a lot of time on this forum (we all do), but to focus all that time on negative or troll posts about one fighter day in day is kind of creepy.
A lot of these guys seem genuinely obsessive over him.

I don't know what mod's do with this stuff other than make a master GGG hate thread I guess, but for weeks now the front page is literally nothing but hate threads attacking GGG. I think we get it. A lot of you guys don't like him for a variety of reasons. Noted. Can we get back to talking actual boxing at some point? At some point its like arguing politics. All you're doing is either preaching to a group that agrees with you or solidifying the position of those who don't. Nobody is changing their minds about this stuff.
