Comments Thread For: Provodnikov's Promoter: Career Decision to Come, Likely To Fight

Ruslan Provodnikov didn't look his usual self when he lost a decision to John Molina back in June. He admitted as much afterward. "It wasn't my night," he said at the time. "Maybe I don't have the same hungriness as before. I'm not going to make excuses, but it was hard for me to find my groove tonight."

I wish provodnikov well, he arguably is one of those fighters with a ton of heart but that scar tissue is turning him into gabe rosado now. If he could get back to 140 there are some match ups to be made that favor him but don't see him fighting for a title anytime soon.

remember when all you experts on here thought highly of provo because he hurt bradley and beat down a worn out alvarado and you guys thought he could **** with pac-roid etc etc. proves that GGG is also hype and you guys jump on whoever gets an OK win.

I wish Provodnikov well but I've always sad if your heart isn't 100% into it, it's probably a good idea to hang it up!

Stay retired, please. This is boxing. Not a "Tough-Man Competition".

nah provo's face has always cut pretty easily even light hitting bradley was marking his face up.it looks to me like he's shot in his last fight vs molina he looked like a zombie I think all the tough fights he's been in have taken their toll on him.

They are probably thinking 1-2 more if he win's his next fight then cash out V a big name.

I don't blame them, Lots of money to made but personally i don't wanna see him again, when you're hearts not in it anymore you should stop asap especially considering ruslan's style (of eating punches)

It's a shame i personally thought he deserved at least a draw V bradley and a W V algerie, but you gotta be beating john molina...
