Yeah I know, they talked about weeks before the fight. I was just hopeful given how boring the Rosado fight went, and how Canelo's fight with Lara went, that they'd move on to someone more exciting.

Khan, Smith, Monroe. This is sounding like GGG's resume now. Pathetic fights from Canelo, this is disappointing. I expect these types of fights from Roman Gonzalez and GGG, not Canelo

My prediction was Monroe in December. Brook and Lemeuix, May and September (no order). Possibly a rematch with Cotto. Which means Canelo vs. GGG happens in 2018. I posted this in a thread earlier this week.

It's bad enough Canelo is ducking GGG, but there was at least talk he would fight David Lemieux instead. But now he's ducking Lemieux too. Willie Monroe is shot. He quit against GGG which I understand but it just shows how beat up he got in that fight. That is the consequence when the best fighters duck GGG, it leaves it to opponents who aren't elite to get in the ring with him for the payday since no one else will, and then they get beaten down. The best should fight the best, fighters like Willie Monroe should fight other guys their level until they learn to dominate them to the point where they are ready to step up.

Monroe's movement, fluidity, combinations, and pop were all less last night against Rosado than they were against GGG and before GGG. I think he should take a couple years off boxing to let his body recover. But right now it's a shot fighter against Canelo and no one wants to see that.

Canelo should fight Lemieux or Khurtside.

Good fight to start your 160 campaign with. Then step it up a little in the next fight and then maybe go after Saunders for a belt, that way it'll be a unification in September. GGG is going to fight any and everybody at 160, because he's used to that weight and knows what he can do at that weight. Canelo doesn't know what he can do at that weight, so he needs to gradually move up in competition in order to see where he's at. If he goes after Jacobs or even Lemieux, he risk losing, which may hamper the Big Drama Show in September of 2017. I want the fight now, but if we have to wait until next September, I'd rather see Canelo gradually move up his level of competion at the weight so that hopefully we have 2 fighters full of confidence and continuing in their K.O. streak.

If you're going to fight a guy GGG beat, at least fight Lemieux.

BS - "I give him all the props in the world because he fought a tough guy in Rosado who kept coming and just couldn’t figure him [Monroe] out."

Reality - Rosado didn't do **** and the ****** donkey balls...
