They didn't throw in the towel because they didn't want Brook to get KO'd. They threw in the towel because Brook was seeing triple GGG's and couldn't defend himself properly. If Khan or Smith were in the same situation as Brook their corners might've thrown in the towels as well.
Now do you understand why Brook's corner threw in the towel?

The thing about the Khan fight, they couldn't throw in the towel because he wasnt taking a beating like Brook and Smith were.
He was still very much in the fight
Khan got knocked out, but overall he took far less punishment than what happened to Brook and Smith
But yes Brooks team threw in the towel because they saw what was coming
Also Khan was given a lot of props after the fight, maybe your forgot?
No damage was done to him as a fighter because he was doing well in the fight and making Nelo look slow and averageLast edited by FrankieBruno; 09-18-2016, 03:42 PM.Comment

Khan has just about every option open to him, fighting Garcia in a big bucks US fight or Brook in a big bucks UK fight.
SMith is a different story. He was never a name in the first place.
Brook on the other hand has to take his beggars plate to Khan next because no other fight gets him any real money.Comment

Khan did MUCH MUCH better than an actual 154 champion, beefy didn't win a single round lol. So much for all those commercials with beefy saying 'canelo beat khan, i am not khan'. LMFAO must feel like a right chav beefy prick right about now not winning any rounds and rolling on the floor in pain after being beaten pillar to post.Comment

Everyone was calling Khan brave. At least in the UK. Much more so because of the inevitable ending where he lay unconscious.Comment

Liam Smith will obviously have to take a step back (with the WBO belt gone, not sure what path Frank Warren will lead Liam down), but he's proven that, at 154, he's a pretty legit fighter; have no doubt that Showtime would have interest in bringing Liam over to fight in their 154lb division (especially if he can get 1-2 wins back at home first).
Erislandy Lara (WBA), Charlo-Williams winner (IBF), Jermell Charlo (WBC), and Demetrius Andrade, among others, all need viable fights.Comment
