Why the **** do you people like Usyk?

Regardless of style I just enjoy watching entertaining fighters.

For me style is everything. I'd rather see a smart fight than an entertaining one.

Usyk fought very smart fight last night.

He doesn't fight anything like the idiots you support.

He uses the ring (runs), doesn't take unnecessary risks, rarely throws more than 3 punch combinations and doesn't go for the ko. In other words, he's just another SLICK AMERICAN in Ukrainian form.

So why do you guys like him so much?

Folks were giving him props for beating Glowacki who is a respected now former champion. Some acknowledged that for a guy who moves as much as Usyk does, he throws a lot of punches and rarely clinches. Somebody also was shocked that Usyk looked like he was even trying to get Glowacki out of there late in the fight.

Just good Boxing talk after a significant fight. It's always good to come to this board and to a thread and read comments of folk with a different perspective or who saw something others missed.

Unfortunately the threads where actual Boxing conversations are taking place are less and less these days and the posters are all quick to insult and all about that operation divide and conquer

I don't like his style at all. I started the fight watching as a neutral, but Usyk made me a Glowacki fan. Bout was a let-down.

I think his fight showed yesterday that he has another skill in him than just punching like a mule.. I picked Glowacki to win in the late rounds and by a UD because Usyk was green and had not been in many 12 rounders not because of his boxing style.. He proved me wrong and won my respect.. He beat the man who beat the man(Huck).. He and Lebedev should be the top 2 of the division undoubtedly..

In a few yrs Usyk might unify the division with his brain and brawn display so far.. Lebedev is really good but he can fight only one way and Roach wouldn't teach him otherwise.. Bellew is a KO waiting to happen, Gassiev might lose to Usyk if they fight now.. Glowacki might win against Lebedev.. So that's a good fight.. This is the best fückin division right now and it has least number of fans in it. Smh
