AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas - As the co-main event Philly's "King" Gabriel Rosado (23-10, 13 KOs) battled Willie "El Mongoose" Monroe, Jr. (21-2, 6 KOs), of Rochester, NY in a 12-round match for the vacant WBO Intercontinental Middleweight. Starting out, the fighters tested each other as they kept their distance by using jabs and counterpunches.

Think it's now obvious Saunders would have boxed his ears off.

This was Rosado's chance to prove Saunders wrong. What a waste.

Billy Joe Saunders blew a golden opportunity. He could have introduced himself to the American audience on a big PPV show, in front of a huge crowd of 51,000, against an easy opponent in Rosado.

Golden Boy set it up perfectly for him. It would have been the ideal way to position him as Canelo's next opponent.

10 loses now, let's go for 11. Golovkin easily knocked out Monroe and Rosado can't even beat him. Put on 40 pounds and Wilder will give you a shot. Hahahaaa

Rosado of 2013 would have given a better go of it.
