Very doubtful. This fight is 50/50. Maybe even 60/40 Canelo. GGG was dumbfounded vs a WW for a couple rounds. He isn't as invincible as many think.

Much less painful I agree! Just this fight is going to be AWESOME and I see both men getting rocked...

Come on guys,Canelo had to go back to 154 for the superfight with Liam Smith to cement his legacy..what's the middleweight belt compared to this level of pride ?

Oscar actually made Floyds $40M offer to Manny look generous.

Also interesting which fans jump on that bullshit, very predictable, the same suspects who cant be taken seriously.
$10 million offer? GGG should take that money -- Canelo just showed how his star power is generating big money to date.

LOL i don't care either way, but he's very correct. Canelo talked, GGG said fight or give me my belt, Canelo vacated. No amount of "offer" talk or whatever can negate that. Sad day in boxing history--especially from a guy with nearly 50 fights.

being dumbfounded by a welterweight is a flawed statement, as if weight class determines how good the opponent is, not to mention you're the only person on the planet who actually believes GGG was somehow lost and confused in any of those 5 rounds.

If GGG beats Zurdo, it will make it do Canelo never comes anywhere near him.

Zurdo steps into the ring at 190 and is so much bigger than GGG.

It would only scare ginger into trying to make 147.

****ing joke. Which Canelo win makes it 12 with GGG.

Not a freaken single one of them.

And Canelo lone loss would get crushed by GGG.

There's a reason these ****ers demand ppv money but don't bring in fans. At least with GGG, he brings in a huge worldwide audience. Hell, almost 3 million watched his last fight in North America.

Anything less than 70/30 for what GGG brings to the table is an insult.

K2 shouldn't take anything less. No one is more talked about as a fight than GGG right now.

There is a reason he is endorsed by Jordan, Apple, and Tecate.

His ppv wasn't huge, but it was his first. And ppv is more about having a natural built in fan base willing to buy ppv.

Since Canelo's last ppv numbers were not released, we don't know. But if Canelo did another 300k his time as a ppv is coming to an end if he doesn't fight GGG.

He got what, 3million for this one.

He's the star right now in boxing, but it's by default. He's lucky to have spent his career on the undercard of Floyd and landing that fight.
If GGG beats Zurdo for his SMW title, it would define his legacy more than waiting around for Canelo. Get Zurdo, then the Badou Jack/James DeGale winner! You want Mexicans, GGG vs. Zurdo! Canelo is going to make him wait until September 2017! He'll be 35! I say move up, become undisputed champion @ 168, then retire! Zurdo would be better than Jacobs or Saunders!

half of his fan base is a base canelo already brings to the table tho. at the end of the day does ggg want a fight or not? and if this isnt good enough why wasnt a 50-50 ward split good enough? its starting to not all add up and how much do u think a canelo ggg ppv is going to do. it will do good numbers but may barely crack 1 million how much does ggg expect? like oscar said who i normally dont defend loughler could at least call him back and say no instead of doing nothing its like loughler doesnt actually want these big fights somethings got to give and its gonna have to be ggg at the end of the day
