Why do GGG detractors praise Lara so much?

First off I'm a fan of Golovkin and I like Lara. I wanted the Lara fight over the Brook fight because the latter was a joke. I've said this numerous times and you can check my post history (though it only goes back 500 posts). I repeat: I WANTED GOLOVKIN TO FIGHT LARA INSTEAD OF BROOK. Obviously the Brook fight happened because Golovkin was presented an opportunity to make a career high pay day for a fight he was heavily favored to win. I'm not happy about it and I in no way shape or form supported this fight. I didn't watch it at all on the Saturday it aired.

That said, its funny how the Golovkin detractors act like Lara is some master boxer but didn't seem to think so highly of him when he was calling out Floyd. Every day the same old ass-butts won't shut the fuck up about Lara, how GGG "ducked him", despite being in different weight classes. Lara is supposedly one of the most avoided fighters in boxing but you never see the detractors going on and on about how fighters in the same weight class as Lara are ducking him. It seems as if only Golovkin is obligated to fight him for some reason. Interesting.

Lara is overrated on here IMO but he would be the best fighter GGG has ever faced IMO....this year GGG has faced Wade and Brook..Lara would be a huge step up in comp

If it was anyone else but Golovkin mentioned then it would be a non story. It's mostly done for reaction. It's why its always done by the same guys.

I'm a fan of both guys. I've took plenty of lumps on her in the past for liking Lara, what with people disliking his style/fights. But i've never believed he really wanted a fight with GGG. He uses names, like he has done in the past with the likes of Thurman and Mayweather.
