Why do GGG fans slam Lara so much?

Eubank was the target.

Eubank was the keep busy fight they wanted.

Brook came in at the eleventh hour to save the event.

It was either that or cancel with everything set up. Brook was a replacement.

Brook was a poor fight, but he was a last minute replacement for Eubank in a big U.K. fight.

Wade was a mandatory that he cleared up after Canelo wanted a voluntary against Khan.

I like Lara and I'd like to see the fight. According to Luis DeCubas, Tom Loeffler has had negotiations with Al Haymon. But it wouldn't be easy to make with the networks.

Must have missed it, post a link if you can find it.

All his agressive opponents paid a price, some a big one.

Lil g would pay that price too.

If Lara, with his power, lands some of the same punches we saw Brook land we'd really find out about Golovkin's chin.

What I didn't miss is Lara calling out Lil g for several years now and the fight not happening.

What I didn't miss is, while a cash grab with Brook is understandable, fighting box office giants from lower weights like Ishida and Rosado, and light punching cash cows like Monroe make zero sense with Lara out there.

I would love to see a Lara fight.

I think I'm in a minority. But that is a hard fight to make. Lots of obstacles to overcome.

A Lara fight is hard to make.

DeCubas has admitted that they're happy to remain at JMW for the time being. They'd also want a big pay day, and GG can't fight on Showtime. So it would have to be on HBO. But where does the big money come from that Lara would want? Also, fights against Jacobs and BJS take precedence.

I've been saying for years I want to see Golovkin vs. Lara.

It would be an interesting matchup for sometime in 2017 (Jacobs first for GGG though).

Since Haymon's boxers are back on HBO (at least a few) Lara-GGG may now be a realistic possibility.
