  • Comments Thread For: Juan Diaz' Manager Says Flanagan Offer Received - It's "Very Low"

Juan Diaz is ramping up his preparations ahead of proposed showdown with Terry Flanagan. The former WBO, IBO, WBA Super and IBF lightweight king, 42-4 (21 KOs), has been chasing a fight with the Ancoats champion, who is the current custodian of the Boxing Organisation crown, since the 27-year-old's Las Vegas dream was momentarily curtailed last month.

I always find it interesting when people talk about an offer being low without actually stating what that low offer is!!

And what has Juan Diaz done lately?

exactly, Diaz should be grateful he was offered a title fight after doing absolutely nothing since he's comeback

They are saying the offer is so low that it won't even cover the cost of travelling over to the UK.

You can't expect a former world champion like Diaz to actually lose money just to get a title shot.

Lol Diaz has gotta have the worst body in boxing. Chubby even after cutting weight, and that big ass mole - probably has black hairs growing out of it.

Flanagan is tall, lean, and shredded. He's the alpha to Diaz's beta.

Went life and death with Marquez for nine exciting, evenly matched rounds, until suffering the KO at the end; whereupon he got his head flown to the sky with a vicious uppercut?

Oh wait? That was February of 2009?

            Never mind...

Seriously? Flanagan wins the title on a broken arm, then defends against a guy with buttered shoes, then he stinks out the place with a guy running from Barosso, and finally defends against old Fana. What has Flanagan done lately?

After defending against Grandpa Fana and Diaz, I am expecting Flanagan's people to try to line up Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini next. He is becoming the Jurgeon Braehmer of lightweight belt holders

                  I seriously, seriously doubt that.

It's Frank Warren. Would you really put it past him to make a low ball offer like that?
