Comments Thread For: Hearn: Eubanks Talk A lot - But Didn't Have Cojones To Step Up!

Matchroom Sports head Eddie Hearn is agitated from the amount of trash talking being done in recent days by British middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. and his father/manager Chris Eubank Sr.

Everyone is waiting on GGG to get old. Eubank, Canelo, Jacobs and Saunders are waiting on him to age. Lets not forget that he is 34 already.

It was a calculated move from Eubank Sr., not to take the fight at the present. The Golovkin chance might not come back immediately, though. But Jr. can go other routes, obviously. He's still just 27. He has his prime peak right ahead of him.

While Brook did out a good showing, he only won one rd . That being said Brook was able to hit GGG clean quite a bit and I do think Fahter time is starting to catch up with GGG

why does it seem like hearn is trying his hardest to ruin eubanks reputation? i still think if it wasnt for hearn offering brook that team ggg end up accepting the fight with eubank. i still think hearn and brook knew during the entire eubank ggg negotiations that at the last second he would give the fight to brook hense the fact he was already way bigger then normal and they thought if brook survived they could create one biggest heists in boxing if brook could just get it to the scorecard it just didnt work they also knew they were fighting with house money he was supposed to lose to ggg. i just dont buy all the bs i really dont hearn is entertaining but i dont believe a word he says

Eubanks know that junior is not quite ready but they are doing a hell of a job keeping him in the headlines [in an annoying but effective manner]

He just needs to step up and beat a recognised contender like Stevens or Khurtzidze - do that and continue to yap and his marketability will increase exponentially.

Just like Canelo should've never fought for the MW title, Eubank should've never called out Golovkin.
