Being hurt is what Brook was in the 1st rd . GGG was never like that at any point in the fight even when the fans were jumping out of their seats cause Brook hit him flush a few times.

That's why he doesn't fight anyone like that? He has tried to fight every frigging top MW in the world. Name one "guy like that" in the MW division?
And don't start tooting the Ward horn as that SMW ran to LH and is fixing to have a hell of a war himself.

Quite funny really that this fight was being compared to Hagler-Hearns in the build up (and rubbished for it) and yet turned out just a bit more competitive than that fight ever was. I think Brook deserves props as on paper at least it looked far more of a mismatch than the old classic. In the end though GGG did what he always does so well and piled on the hurt on his opponent until he got the stoppage.

"Brook had broken his eye socket" >>> Quick quiz .. How did Brook break his eye socket ? .........
A/ Headbutt the corner post?
B/ Trip and stumble as he walked back to his corner and **** his eye against his trainer's knee?
C/ Mistime an upper cut and punch himself out while Golovkin looked on in awe?
D/ Get hit by a falling piece of O2 roof debris after crowd volume levels raised the roof?

Being hit by brook isn't like a bee sting I'm sure GGG diudnt want to take too many.
But a little perspective is needed, he wasn't like berbick against Tyson.
Let's just thank god brook is OK.

Brook is a helluva fighter. We saw a good scrap. GGG is a beast even when he's not at his very best. Apparently because he only broke his eye socket and fortunately didn't get the chance to decapitate him, GGG is not really that good. Because GGG totally dominated all of his opponents and only seriously injured this one, he's overrated.
