My first Boxing match that got me into boxing was Mayweather vs Dela Hoya back in 2007. I was a adolescent from a casual boxing family. My father was a casual fan that only followed or liked boxing stars like Duran, Chavez Sr & Tyson. I remeber watching the 24/7 hateing Mayweather not knowing it was a act to sell ppvs. Our family supported DelaHoya of course cause we were Mexican so I went with the flow. Over the years since mayweather beat DelaHoya. I would always wanted him to lose & hated him. It was until 2011 after the Victor Ortiz fight that started to go to a local boxing gym at the age of 17 since then I have learned alot about boxing from stances to pivots,etc...from 2012 I considered my self a true boxing head with beginners experience in boxing....I now understand Mayweather & truley appreciate his wonderful career....i been a fan of him since 2012....fyi my family still hates mayweather & defensive fighters lol
Was a Mayweather Hater....Now i am a fan....

Great thread. I like when people aren't afraid to speak the truth and voice their own opinions.
Its what makes the internet great.
I see a bright future for this young wise man.Comment

Hey man do you still think GGG beats Canelo after that Brook performance...Idk man I'm starting to think GGG is ageing & Canelo can beat him.....hopefully Canelo fights him soon
I still think it's a 60 40 fight in favor of GGG if it's at 160 next yearComment
