Thinking back on it, I really started to dislike him when he blasted Razor Ruddock out in two rounds and he said something in the post fight that got all over me. I actually started to warm up to him later on his career. He was with Manny Steward so I couldn't stay mad at him forever.

Lewis was always fan friendly,used to watch him sometimes in the poconos...one time he came in the gym around the resort he usually stayed. Took pics with everyone and I even got to slap box with him way back in 1991 I was about 18 how many HW's would that with the average kid? He went there to do weight training, then there was no boxing equipement there unfortuanelty.

Whether or not he loses those fights it's not like moving up and getting his face broken was the easy way out. It's not like he was lineal champion and dropped down a division to fight the #8 guy.

Let me say it was convenient he didn't take a career damaging beating, if I payed for that fight I would be infuriated the way it played out. He clearly wanted out of the ring and i wouldn't be shocked if it was staged.

I'm a huge GGG fan and was more than willing to shat on that fight. Was at a wedding and missed it and wasn't too upset. However I hope you're right that it wasn't a career altering beating. I just keep think about how Margarito's face swelled like crap in Cotto 2 after he got his face broke.

I would say Rid**** Bowe,never liked his his swagger about him, even when he was a little humerous I never took to him.
