He probably doesn't step on the scales because of nerds like you guys crying about a couple pounds. Jesus. Lara, Kirkland, Trout, Angulo, (his last few fights at 154) were all the same size, bigger or within a pound of Canelo's fight night weight. It's documented too you can go look at it, use google fgt. And now Smith, a guy who is visibly bigger and taller than Canelo at 154. You'll see at the weigh in. On fight night they will be the same size or within a pound or two of each other

They have both been weighed many times on fight night and the weigh has been shown. They both have weighed in the 168 to 172 range so they weigh about the same. Some posters and Khan grossly exaggerate Canelo's fight night weight. Khan claimed he weighed 156 to Canelo's 185 when he fought Canelo but neither fighter was weighed that night and Khan made those numbers up. Some posters have claimed he balloons up to 200 pounds on fight night. Canelo is a big Jr middleweight and GGG is a smaller middleweight. They both weigh 170 pounds on fight night give or take a pound. They are about the same size.

EDIT: OMG I just went back to read it for the lolz and this is the type of ***** we got to deal with from GGG fans. You're trying to justify 1 fckng pound to determine that Canelo is bigger lmao FFS man
          You're ****** as ****.

Canelo was also at 172 against Trout back in 2013...

Fact is that Canelo is at least the same size than Golovkin. Outweighin him by 1 or 2 pounds in some fight.

And that fighting at 154/155. At 160 he could outweight him by 6 pounds.

Canelo was 174 against Angulo. His highest recorded weight. After that he went lower (171) against Lara. They are similar but it seems to me that Canelo is growing and maybe on the 172-174 limit nowadays.

Why didn't lil G step on the scales on fight night vs welterweight Brook? Was it because he didn't want to show his true weight? or does that bullshiiit argument only work when you want to use it? Don't try and give me the IBF morning weight either fgt.

Arguing with GGG fans is pointless. Could you imagine a real life scenario where a guy who had a 2 pound advantage over another guy would significantly change the outcome of a hypothetical fight?

"nah bro you have a 2 pound advantage over me its not a fair fight"

Canelo/Golden Boy stopped letting Canelo get on the HBO scales after he started getting criticism for being so much bigger than everyone else, that is a fact.
