Yep. Sometimes it's better to ignore the static. And really, who in their right mind would wanna get in the ring with any of the top HWs?

Some are saying "Wilder Is ****" right now so yeah I think they should wait on this one but both could use stiffer competition and some bigger wins before coming together for this fight so that NEITHER will be discredited when they do fight

Joshua fight Joseph and Wilder fight Povetkin and then if both take care of business then meet up for a HUGE unification bout

We would know if Wilder is **** or not if the Povetkin fight happened... It's a shame that that fight didn't happen. Fury vs. Wlad is taking wayyyy too long to happen, so they aren't in the loop. No one is jumping at an Ortiz fight... The Wilder fight gives him a chance to unify. At some point, if he keeps fight tougher competition and winning, the critics won't have much to say, just like all boxers. A Parker fight would be a step in the right direction. Stop crying and start fighting...

They've been saying that because he fights Martin and Braezele. He would get respect for Wilder.

It all depends how quickly he wins . The unwritten rule in boxing seems to be if you k.o someone easy they are bums . The truth is he has the abilities to k.o someone faster than anyone if he really wants to . I dont know why most think that if you don't crack a top 5 spot you are not a good fighter , thats nonsense bc any given day an inferior fighter can show up better prepared than what you see on video footage , specially if you are the champion .

Joshua is right anyway and he knows it will be nearly impossible to get full credit in this era ,ironically that seems to be every dominant HW champion starting with Holmes and there after .....didnt everyone know that only the champion has talent......

I completely agree with Joshua and think that this is the biggest problem with boxing fans. Unless you're a hall of fame fighter, you're just a bum to a lot of fans. Hell, people on here all the time that rip into all time greats and what not. I don't get why there is this mentality for boxing fans when I don's see it in any other sports. It would be like saying, yeah Michael Jordan is great, Magic and Bird were pretty good and the rest are ****! And I realize there are also a lot of good, reasonable fans around here who respect fighters for what they are.

I just don't get why to a significant portion of people you either have to be an ATG world champ or you're just not worth the time of day. For some reason boxers are always graded on their abilities and accomplishments by stacking them up against the Ali's of the world. Even half the people on this thread saying Wilder is ****, compared to what? Because the dude is 37-0 with 36 KO's and 4 world title defenses. I'm not incredibly high on Wilder but he's obviously one of the best Heavyweights out there today. Any guy that gets to the higher levels of boxing deserves respect and none of them are ****. Yeah there are varying levels of fighters but unless you're a Milos Dovedan or whatever you should get more respect then most guys do from some boxing fans.

Sorry for the diatribe, but it just pisses me off sometimes when good but not great fighters get shown so little respect. This is the only sport I follow where fans prefer to degrade the sports athletes than praise them for their abilities and I just don't get it. Rant over, have a good day.

You need to worry about Parker and keep tha champs name out of your mouth! Deontay is injured show some respect you vulture! but when the 'Bronze Bomber' returns and you managed to survive another KO you can come to America as you said you would and see the undisputed real HW champion of the World in Las Vegas USA.

                    - Squad.

Exactly and its the fans old and young who say ******ed things such as "Zorra Folley can beat Klitchko bc he fought Ali " yes theres a handful of ppl like that on here that dwell in the history section and this type of idiot who claims he knows more about the sport is part of the problem and gives boxing fans the reputation as the dumbest combat fan base which imop they are bc they rank inferior skills over better ones that are compared to out of date eras and styles which makes boxing look like the only sport that doesnt advance ......such foolishness !
