    That was a really good fight. Both guys hurt each other pretty bad. Moreno couldn't recover from that brutal 6th round KD.

      That was crazy, Moreno was destroying him in that round and ends up losing it off one punch. Not that it ultimately mattered.

              You are 100% correct and my story has been amended. I forgot that BScene had Yamanaka and Moreno #1 and #2. The following graf has been added to reflect:

              With the win, Yamanaka also gains recognition as the World (lineal) bantamweight champion, as he and Moreno were the top two ranked boxers in the division in the BoxingScene.com ratings. The feat establishes a lineage in the division for the first time since 1988, ending the longest active gap in the sport (28 years) between genuine world champs.

                  There was also a whole graph at the end of the pre-report card before the (wrong) pick. Still could be some debate but I don't think there is a serious case against Yamanaka as the true champ right now.

                      This was a really good fight. A lot of crisp punching, pin-point accuracy and some spectacular timing on display.

                      Now I'm watching Hasgawa/Ruiz...the ref took a ****ing point off for a head-clash?!? WTF?
