  • Comments Thread For: Yamanaka Ends Debate, Stops Moreno In Seven To Retain Title

Their first clash ended with a heated debate over the final outcome. The sequel, however, ended with Shinsuke Yamanaka sending an emphatic reminder to the boxing world that he is - indeed - still the best bantamweight on the planet.

The long-reigning titlist delivered perhaps the biggest win of his career, stopping Anselmo Moreno in the 7th round of their wild rematch Friday evening in Osaka, Japan. Four knockdowns came of the night, with both boxers down early before Yamanaka floored Moreno twice in round seven in forcing the stoppage win.

great fight. I had moreno winning the first figth, but this one left not doubt for Yamanaka.
They were both looking for the fences.
I'd like Yamanaka vs Rigo at 122

I'm curious on the first post where this individual saw the fight the way he was writing it it seems like he saw it live that's the trouble and the problems for us here in the states too many of the Japanese Fighters are unknown at all only what we read or see on YouTube it's a shame we can't see more of them many of them have great hidden talents... now it's time for say hi still very young to pick himself up and start fighting again...

At his age who knows if he wants to move up but I would like to see him get a chance the two fights with ruiz or something and I think one vs the Japanese Champion will be just as good...

Yamanaka's never fought outside of Japan, so how about matching him with the McDonnell/Warren winner on neutral turf?

Chemito never been the same since the Mares fight on top of the issues outside of the ring with Managers screwing him over and then issues with his Wife and that entire strange on again off again I don't know WTF they're splitting then they're not splitting he was just saying they're splitting to "Confusing His Enemies" I don't know Chemito seem to have too many distractions outside of the ring over the last few years

                    Cong**** to Yamanaka!
