2 things i have to comment on.

    1. with all due respect to Smith, he may be a champ and undefeated, but he has never even fought a B level fighter before. he doesn't have anything for Canelo in this fight, it will be a boxing lesson for as long as it lasts.

    2. the Canelo-GGG debate doesn't make much sense to me, especially when people say Canelo is ducking GGG. I like both fighters and rate both as A level fighters, but GGG needs this fight more than Canelo.
Canelo is already a PPV star
Canelo fought Mayweather when he was 23 years old and on Mayweather's terms. Knowing he couldnt make 152 and knowing it was too soon in his career. Why because he knew it was his chance to become a star.

Logically you cannot come into the game and call out a PPV star on your terms, and expect a PPV split.
If GGG was that desperate for the fight, he should have done what PAC eventually did to get the Mayweather fighter and accept that he was not the A team. Take whats on offer if your only motive is the fight, and take your chances to become a PPV star.
I like GGG he is a warrior and a good fighter, but he knows the only way he is gonna make serious money and become a PPV star is by beating the star.
So he needs Canelo. simple as that
Agree 100% . But let's get some panties in a bunch and put it in layman's terms ... GGG NEEDS Canelo . Canelo doesn't NEED GGG !

GGG still looking for his opportunity at 34, in a MW division without Ward counts for nothing.
Tell me, when was Ward a MW?

not for a while, meaning no competition in the MW division. and now 2 divisions away from GGG.

GGG good fighter, unfortunate no names in the division at the moment.

GGG should have moved up to SM before Ward moved out.

If you ask people in Mexico, many believe Canelo is just a product of marketing. Oscar wants to keep his golden goose safe. He's very beatable. But you have to KO him to beat him because judges are on his side.

Canelo is a JMW and that's where he is a PPV star.

I don't think you are ducking if you choose not to fight in a higher division
Please, junior middle weight or middle weight. Take the ****ing fight and quit being a ****, they are the same size and if Canelo is saying all these things, why not fight him?

This is why boxing will never be more popular than UFC, it even has the fans brainwashed into thinking it's ok to duck fights or talk and not back it up, embarassing. And fans talk about money like they are promoters

it's about logic not about wanting to be a promoter.
we are talking sense here not cents.
              all business is about money.

Oh we know you're not worried about the fight. You're so scared of him you point blank refuse to step in there with him. So if you know you're not going to fight him, then what is there to be worried about?

Just lay your head down on your pillow and relax you coward.

I hope Smith smashes this guy to bits , used to quite like Canelo even after Floyd played with him but he shouldn't be fighting a glass jawed Khan and he shouldn't really be fighting Smith we all know he's a middleweight but we all know who waits there!

                  The excuses are really bad!
