"I'm not worried at all about going to 160. I'm a strong fighter, I'm a fighter who can adapt to my surroundings".

Well good to know but we shall see if a CW will be brought up in negotiations. Hopefully this gets done and Canelo doesn't wait till GGG gets older or prays someone else beats him so he doesn't have to fight him.

Neither of them really do trash talk but it would be good to hear them a bit more passionate about this. I know we cannot expect Ricardo Mayorga levels here but still.

I think that's exactly what he does.

i never post here but i read all the comments.

2 things i have to comment on.

                    1. with all due respect to Smith, he may be a champ and undefeated, but he has never even fought a B level fighter before. he doesn't have anything for Canelo in this fight, it will be a boxing lesson for as long as it lasts.

                    2. the Canelo-GGG debate doesn't make much sense to me, especially when people say Canelo is ducking GGG. I like both fighters and rate both as A level fighters, but GGG needs this fight more than Canelo.
Canelo is already a PPV star
Canelo fought Mayweather when he was 23 years old and on Mayweather's terms. Knowing he couldnt make 152 and knowing it was too soon in his career. Why because he knew it was his chance to become a star.

Logically you cannot come into the game and call out a PPV star on your terms, and expect a PPV split.
If GGG was that desperate for the fight, he should have done what PAC eventually did to get the Mayweather fighter and accept that he was not the A team. Take whats on offer if your only motive is the fight, and take your chances to become a PPV star.
I like GGG he is a warrior and a good fighter, but he knows the only way he is gonna make serious money and become a PPV star is by beating the star.
So he needs Canelo. simple as that
