Old numbers? He just sold over 40K. And now GGG only drawing 800k viewers last weekend is old? Less then he did last year with Murray but you worried about Canelo? FMD, GGG is, for a boxer from Kazakhstan, reasonably well known in many parts of the world.

On the other hand, Canelo is barely known outside the people who purchase his PPVs i.e. Mexicans and Mexican-Americans

His "fame" is relatively isolated and purely a fluke of birthplace

Imagine if he was the one born in Kazakhstan: it's debateable as to whether he'd be any more marketable than Lara as Floyd, Cotto etc would never have bothered to fight him because he'd literally bring nothing to the table
