    Joe Louis vs. Joe Frazier

Joe Louis vs. Joe Frazier. Who do you think would win this fight? Personally, I'm with Frazier in this one. He fought much better opponents.

Fraziers style would give Louis more than he could handle . Louis himself admits pressure fighters was his weakness and he didnt like being crowded ,and Frazier was the biggest crowder in history even more than Marciano who Louis claims he would never beat for that reason.

Frazier was good enough even being basically a one handed fighter ,quick enough to land accumulative body shots and would eventually find the left hook on Louis who hss been k.od by lesser punchers .....i'll take 1971 Fraziers over any Louis who had better technical punching but will have a hard time with such a persistent fighter who will be stuck at Louiss chest for as long as it takes ......Louis simply wont have much quickness in the feet or a long stinging jab to keep Joe off him.

Louis should win but wouldn't based on his difficulty dealing with pressure fighters .Frazier is more limited offensively but goes at a faster work rate and is harder to get a clean shot on.Someone like Louis who you can time off of patterns would not be able to exploit Fraziers weakness in his own defensive holes bc Louis liked guys who stood still .Im not sure how this would play out ,either decision win for Frazier or stoppage after rnd 6.

    Frazier by 8rnd k.o against a 20 something Louis!

Frazier is the hardest puncher Louis ever faced and if Max could get to him, Frazier could too.

I'm struggling to find advantages of Louis over Frazier tbh. Louis possibly hit just as hard but was slower on his feet, maybe he had slightly quicker one punch shots but Frazier was a more fluid combination puncher in his prime.

Oh and if the best available version of Ali couldn't keep Frazier off him, the much slower, smaller Louis ain't doing it either.

      Frazier by KO/TKO late.
