    Couldn't beat that Welterweight jumping bean who lost to Mike Alvarado? Molina i think it was..

    Lara is very overrated, that's why.

    No doubt he has the style to get a few decent wins here and there but as a whole he is very overrated. People think he's better than he is because he's Cuban and think he's some master boxer, he really isn't.

    Still got robbed against Williams though.

        The reality of the situation is that Lara can't really handle pressure fighters that well. He couldn't deal with Molina & he got dropped twice by Angulo LOL

        The real reason he beat Paul Williams was because Sergio already did it for him and laid out the blueprint

            The reason he beat Williams was largely because Williams was horrible against lefties.

              Molina fought way differently in those alvarado days; didnt resort to any spoiling tactics and just boxed

              Molina was actually a better fighter than ppl give him credit for; he schooled Chavez jr, was and easily beating a prime kirkland.

                Don't think we can give him that win against Paul, Lara wasn't throwing enough lost himself that one.
