thought Canelo was staying at 154 "for the time being" - that now means one fight?

Don't think any of those guys can make 154 or even 155 without being seriously weight drained.

Rosado or Monroe is good enough, the divison is pretty slim in shape of top tier talent any of these guys mentioned are good enough, I'd prefer Geale who is arguably GGG's best win to date but not if it's a bull shyt cw.
Geale on his resume is better but on the eye test he was already sliding when he thought Golovkin - maybe only 80/90% of what he was at his peak and GGG took another 30% away meaning he was only 60% of his peak when he fought Cotto and then got further screwed by the catch-weight in that fight.

For any of you who think that a pound or two doesn't matter then check out how Geale looked at the weigh in and even stepping into the ring for the Cotto fight.

So no, Geale wasn't the best on Golovkin's record. I'd have Murray or Lemieux. Out of a not very inspiring list.

Sounds like the Rosado/Monroe scorecards have already been filled out. Sorry Willie...
        • David Lemieux has a fight in late October, so December is unlikely.
        • Curtis Stevens was Canelo's primary sparring partner for Khan, so he's unlikely.
        • If Monroe wins, he'd be too much risk for Canelo.

If they're moving up to 160lbs, they might as well add Tureano Johnson & Jorge Heiland to their list. Khytrov or Khurtsidze would make awesome fights for Canelo.

Yours is a matter of opinion and frankly I don't agree with it in the least. Sturm having come off of the career high destruction of Zbik was handedly dealt with by Geale who went from that fight into a huge PPV against Mundine taking very little damage in the process of both of those fights, in the Barker it my belief he was hard done by in a fight he dropped Barker hard I couldn't argue a case for a Barker win that night.

Geale was far from damaged goods before he fought GGG.

Only fights I'd like to see Canelo in at 154 is vs j roc, Errol spence or Brook. Other then that let's go to 160. No 155 bull**** either

Total BS ..delaying the inevitable, as I posted 2018 the earliest he fights GGG ...he has really distinguished himself as the biggest FRAUD in boxing...

So the carrot top goes from belittling GGGs opponents to trying to make fights with each and every one of them... classic, if not quite sad

It's going to be Lemieux or Rosado(the PR vs Mex angle).
