Which fighter has been able to frustrate Golovkin the most so far?

Abel Sanchez said Monroe Jr. was their first slick southpaw taking advantage that the reporter didn't know their previous opposition, otherwise the reporter and Abel both would've known that Ouma went 10 rounds with Lil'G and sparked him up with boxing and uppercuts. Of course Ouma already had losses and was his 2nd attempt for a 160 title after losing to Taylor. Ouma was a seasoned Welterweight.

Ouma gave him the most problems, but if I had to pick the fighter who frustrated him most it'd be way back - Ian Gardner. Gardner was a tough crafty dude who gave problems to Abraham and Bad Chad and yes, he was a slick Southpaw.

That said, I suspect GGG walks down and breaks down Lara, much like he did to Brook - should they ever fight - even if he doesn't look great doing it.

Yeah, Gardner landed some, but he ran a lot ... however the question was who frustrated Golovkin the most. You could see Golovkin getting annoyed cos he just couldn't get Gardner to engage, whereas with Ouma, though it was a tougher fight, Golovkin could at least get to grips with him and - eventually - simply outgun and outgrit him.
