^Broken logic that contradicts itself as the post goes on. Kovalev is extremely well known, so much so that his upcoming fight has been the most anticipated fight of the year. He's had fights that drew more than a million, more than once. Not far off from GGG.

Kovalev doesn't do fake call-outs, doesn't bait guys from lower weight classes, doesn't fight in a paper-thin division. Kovalev is such a solid fighter that people think he has a solid chance against Ward. He gets a bit more respect because he's earned it.

Truth is, if you look at the amount of praise GGG gets, it's far greater than the hate. There are about 30 GGG trolls here spamming his praises compared to the 4 or 5 guys who make these critical threads. I think GGG's fanbase draws some of the less sophisticated, casual fans (happens with action fighters, happened to Pac) so some of his fans are highly sensitive to criticism and cry 'racism' as a means of defense.

This post is so good that it made Maxi cry in happiness. However, let's be honest, Golovkin only wanted Alvarez when he held the WBC Lineal. Before that he didn't care about Alvarez. Same with lower weights. The problem with Lil'G is his mgmt. Is it the Herman brothers trying to cash out for a once in a lifetime experience? Is it Abel, Loeffler? Both, or all of them conspiring for the spotlight? Golovkin seems pretty straight forward. He seemed honest when he was disgusted about a Brook fight initially then did a 180... Probably knows he doesn't mind clowning or takes American awareness for granted. Maybe where he is from their society might be gullible to such retractive stunts with words, but here in the states, cmon, scripted material.

Extreme xenophobia and fear or being replaced by foreigners is just kind of the hallmark of african american culture. They are watching a sport that used to be very local and was a mark of pride because they consistently beat the local farmer boys, go international and be taken over by Europeans, Latin Americans, Asians. On this forum they talk about being descended from epic pharaohs and having fast twitch boxing genes while being pushed out of the top 10 because all the good 5'9" middleweights are playing in the NBA/NFL.
