No duck, you know there is a contract that gets signed before any fighters ever steps in the ring, Canelo a super welter! I understand your point, ggg got his belt. Now he can move on with his goal and unify, if he wants Canelo then he can fight at 154 where his teams claims no one last the distance. No duck, strictly business move to vacate. That way the wbc cannot mandate the weight. So... Understand its business first. Next!

Canelo using GGG's name to try to hype his fight against smith. A fight nobody wanta to see and also one where canelo dropped vada testing so his diuretics could help him make 154.

Canelo trying his best to imitate chavez jr. This is just sad.
you should learn how to read....it was liam smith who witdrew
From vada testing....get you facts straight...

Boxingscene posters don't understand the concept of an interview. A boxer gets asked about another boxer and answers accordingly. Boxingscene posters think the boxer is just talking out of nowhere about another boxer
Then why isnt the entire interview shown? Also why is there a complete paragraph promoting the canelo/smith fight?

This is just canelo trying to stay relevant because nobody cares that he is fighting smith. Its hard to care about canelo when he is a coward that dopes, lies, drops belts, and ducks his biggest match.

Interesting you bring contracts up. Part of the Cotto contract was that GGG was to fight the winner of that fight, next. Canelo won and failed to fulfill his obligation. You also say Canelo is a SWW. Funny thing about that is, he has been fighting in the MW division for the last 3years. Only with this Smith fight is he (key word here) returning to the SWW division. He was the WBC MW champ, yet somehow wasn't a MW. Strange. It is a business, and that business is to get in the ring and throw hands

So just because smith withdraws, then canelo also gets to withdraw? One week its canelo saying that making 154 is tough, the next when its announced there will be no testing then suddenly canelo feels comfortable about making weight.

Also how exactly does smith get to withdraw? Was the fact that they were to have vada never signed? I dont see how smith just gets to drop out? If im canelo(the a side bringing the money) i wouldnt just let smith drop out of testing. Smith could be doping and having an unfair advantage. If im canelo i wouldnt permit that, unless canelo wants to also drop from testing so that he can dope.

Use your head man, dont be a silly sheep.

you are correct about the fight with cotto and ggg agreed to accept step aside money so the big boys can "throw hands" you know Canelo only fought at 155 which is one poung above sww and 5 away from mw limit so yes the last 3 years he has fought within the mw limit by going one pound over. Why doesn't ggg accept the fight at 154? He declined anything less then 160 as the mandatory gave him the right to do, Canelo by vacating now has the ball back in his court per say in regards to negotiations. Simple, if ggg wants the Canelo fight, ggg has to agree to canelos terms, if he doesn't agree there is no fight, can't blame anyone but ggg for that. I see it, sorry if you don't. Cheers

The big boys? I think you mean the little guys. Isn't that the whole premise of your argument? That Canelo isnt a MW? Why would GGG agree to 154 when Canelo said with Golovkin in the ring, that he would fight at 160. Honestly I feel if Canelo wins a 154 belt, then 157 is reasonable and fair. Anything less is manipulative
