1st fight maidana brought a fight to floyd door he wasnt ready for and even had him wanting to quit in the 4th crying to the ref that he cant see, now floyd knows boxing in and out and he knew if they stopped the fight before the fight on a accidental cut its a NC and he honestly didnt think he could handle maidana.

Floyd gave maidana the second fight cause he knew he could have made that fight easy had he had came correct from the jump instead of letting it turn into something he really didnt want. Like every real boxing fan knows it nearly impossible to turn a brawl back into a boxing match once hit its a certain point and floyd knew just to box him instead.

2nd fight floyd boxed him and still had difficult but he had better control of the pace and overall style of the figth and that punch that people say knocked his tooth out reminded floyd why he had to pay to make maidana wear special gloves and why he didnt want to brawl with him.
