America's boxing media flocked to the Gaylord Texan Resort in Arlington today as reigning WBO Junior Middlweight Champion Liam 'Beefy' Smith put on a show for the cameras ahead of his blockbuster showdown with Mexican star Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. Smith really can't believe what he's saying, can he? He got the fight cuz he has a title,no real punching power and not a threat to win.

Not really because the PPV is going to tank. I'm certain of it. Win or lose this is a one time deal UNLESS it's a fight if the year type fight. And then the rematch will gain some steam. This fight has about a 2 out of 10 in terms of interest, relativity, and popularity. It would be a flat out zero but Canelo makes it a 2, possibly 3 out of 10.

Could be a great fight but has nothing going for it, going into it.

Maybe if the PPV does well, or else the rematch is going to regular HBO when they can afford it

Really like Liam Smith. He looks older than he should haha, but he comes across as very down to earth. He openly admits he hasn't fought anyone world class yet but he doesn't seem fazed at all so far.

I hope he wins, or makes it a good close fight.
