Do you agree that Golovkin should move up in weight considering the circumstances?

The circumstances being that there's no one to fight in his weight class.

Vote in the poll so we can see where everyone stands.

He should move up in weight as it makes the most sense career-wise

He should remain at MW and wait it out. Opponents will always be there at 160

He's got a JAcobs fight which should be good and now Saunders seems anxious to fight him. Looking vulnerable vs Brook may have been good. Then Canelo says he'll fight him in 2017.

Jacobs, Saunders, Canelo. If he can get them, stay. If not, go.

If he wants a true legacy, to be remembered as a great, he must go to 168. Nothing wrong with staying at 160 but it's not going to be enough for earn him a notable place in boxing history.

I think DeGale is the best at 168 atm and that GGG beats him comfortably as James doesnt have a great motor and also loses concentration - that's suicide against GGG

I actually think that there are bigger challenges for him at 160 in the next 2 years (Jacobs, Saunders, Canelo and the other big 154s)

Whether history judges it that way remains to be seen

There's money to be made at 160.

Canelo fight happens in 2017, as does the Jacobs fight.

The only people who want to see him move up are those who are hoping he'll get laid out by a much bigger man.

He said he wants to fight Saunders, why move up right now when there is still competition at his weight?

If other top MW won't fight him he shouldn't fight welterweights. He should move up for a fight or fight a 154. I don't think it's too much you ask him not fight welterweights.

Agreed, nobody wants to see that again.
