Corrales signs to face Castillo-Diaz winner!

February 04, 2005 - WBO lightweight champion Diego "Chico" Corrales has signed a contract to face the winner of the March 5 Jose Luis Castillo-Julio Diaz bout. Corrales has been pencilled in by Showtime to get the winner as early as May 7.

yep, Chico is a great fighter, but SEVERELY overrated. Jose Luis Castillo would annihilate him and I think Chico knows it. He doesnt want to look like a *****, so he signed on, hoping Diaz wins.

he's gonna fight castillo anyway, now he just has to wait longer, until he's finished with Diaz. maybe it'll give chico more time to tune up with his wife while he's waitin, or he could be hoping Diaz will soften Castillo up for him first
