If i could design a fighter to make Naseem Hamed look like **** in the ring, it would look a lot like Floyd Mayweather.

This would be a beatdown imo

Floyd would have clowned him worse than Barrera did.

I think Mayweather would have outboxed Hamed, though in a different way to Barrera. It would have been interesting though.

Even Larry Merchant knows it was Hamed that didn't want to fight Floyd.

Was that fight ever really on the table on the table????

I remember hearing some 128lb catchweight rumors back in the day iirc & they were both up & coming HBO guys around the same time with Hamed coming on the scene big in late 97 with the entertaining Kevin Kelley fight & Floyd with his late 98 wins over Genaro & Angel, but there never seemed to be much real talk since they were both still up & coming & in different divisions thus it had lil "superfight" value at the time.

If Hamed had beat Barrera I think its more plausible the fight could've happened in late 2001 or early 2002 before Floyd moved up, but outside of fantasy what if's I doubt either guy avoided that fight in any real way since it was never really in the pipeline or a serious consideration for HBO.

                    Stop dreaming Naz!

                    Nasser Hamed,

Have you been hanging out at Amir Khans house?!

                    Are you crazy?

Barrera exposed you as a one dimensional front runner who couldn't spell ADAPT/ADJUST much less execute it.

                    I've never seen a fighter..a champion with LESS of a plan B.

That night Barerra had you flailing away at the stars...Floys would have faked you out in to the parking lot.

Remember the 11th round of Mayweather vs Canelo..when Canelo swung for the fences with a Hail Mary shot..only to find Floyd damn near standing beside him looking at the spot of air where that punch landed?

Yeah...that would have been YOU all night long.

Sit down and shut up Naz...stop talking all of this **** about how great your ring entrances were and how entertaining you were.

Give me a break...you didn't have the basic fundamentals and personality wise...I'd swear you and Adrian Broner are cut from the same cloth.

Two of the most insufferable pricks to ever come down the pike.
