Buddha teaches total peace, of the body and soul, not some, do what I say and I'll reward you with eternity stuff, the rewards are spiritual not physical, nothing lasts forever. And I'm sad for you that you don't have the ability to see things any other way than what a book and a bunch of scared people that have been brainwashed into thinking there is only one god that counts, Buddha is not a god, Buddhism is a way of life, to live a happy and peaceful life and accept things for what they are, how many million people have been killed in the name of Buddha as opposed to your religious beliefs? Never said Buddhism was violent, but its still a false docrtine. Man cannot achieve salvation through works.
