GGG about to become the biggest star in boxing

He has taken over some peoples lives here. LOL

Like it or not that last fight put him over the top along with Kell Brook.

What is this based off of? Fighting welterweights and non relevant fighters? Good call. You see guys like Ward, Kov, Pac, Floyd, Cotto, Gonzalez, among others, all step up and challenge themselves but you have this fool GGG still bumming wasting time into his mid 30's.

He already is. The guy delivers knockouts at all costs. Since boxing is more international now anyway, he just performed in Britain which is one of the biggest stages these days and rightly so. Their crowds make the whole event so much more enjoyable.

Okay SugarKaineBrook you're a Brit posing as an pro-black American. GGG wins by knockout once again, WHO NECKS?

Golovkin looking suspect last night is only going to do wonders for boxing. It will actually convince Canelo and others that Golovkin is beatable, and our chance of seeing these super-fights happen will only increase.

Golovkin has been boxing for a while now. Haters are in denial.

                    It's true. It's a shame he's almost 35 though.

Golden Boy and HBO can tell as many people they want Canelo is the "face of boxing" - he isn't. People know him as the ginger that got schooled by Floyd. He has a decent Mexican fanbase and that's all. He does good numbers because he fights on Mexican holidays and is Mexican. Let him fight Liam Smith on a random weekend in February, i bet his numbers won't be "face of boxing" standard. Lets face is Floyd and Manny were the only real PPV stars for a while.

People have become wise to Canelo's blatant ducking of GGG recently too which is only enhancing GGG's reputation and propelling his stardom even more.

Canelo should have taken the fight now actually. In a years time, it wouldn't surprise me if the popularity gap has almost completely closed or even tilted the other way.

No matter what you think of GGG, His style is perfect for the average viewer and they're the people you need to be a star.
