The huge fault in your argument there is that Golovkin hasn't faced anyone as good as a 50 year old Hopkins. For that matter, I can't remember the last time Kovalev fought someone as slow as Lemieux.
This is about technique, something which Kovalev has, whether you recognise it or not.

The sad thing is that the TS is dead ass serious.

GGG got the job done but was fighting pretty closely, arguably losing, w/ a big underdog who was much smaller than him (I haven't seen the full fight yet). Kovalev hasn't really shown that much vulnerability.

Both GGG and Kovalev make up for their lack of defense with a great chin and amazing offense. But posters on here quick to diminish GGGs skills but have no problem with Kov doing the same thing, and they praise Kov. Also both dont have the best resumes, and Golovkin probably has a better chin p4p.
Kovalev is hittable but he doesn't get hit with such crazy number of punches. GGG can't fight on the backfeet, Kovalev can, that's the difference.

Why does he need to move up? Better for him to stay and unify. Nothing for him at 168.

Really? Resume wise, Kov best win was 50 year old hopkins, thats not that good. They both got crappy resumes.

I could've sworn Super Middleweight has belts? 2 Division Champ is better than coasting a division where everybody acknowledges that nobody wants to fight Golovkin, or it sucks having been promoted belts...

that's a hard one to figure out... some kids refuse to believe that santa clause doesn't exist when they realize it was all hype...

Again why does he need to move up when he has not even unified yet at his weight. It aint all about being a champ in as many weight classes as possible. Unifiying and dominating one weight class is legacy defining as well. TO add to the fact 168 is a **** division.

Maybe he doesn't get a pass, the real problem is that PRIDE won't allow certain people to hear or see GGG and Kovalev Flaws because if you point in out on this forum that is "Reverse Racism" and you're "Anti Eastern European" and "If He Was A Black American...Blah Blah Blah"

So with idiots like this you let them learn the HARD WAY and they will comeback to this forum crying and complaining

Learn the sport and stop being a ALL PRIDE/ZERO BRAINS type of fan, you will enjoy and respect the sport better instead of this PRIDEFUL Reassurance BS and living vicarious through a boxer

right... that's why he fought Brook...and because he's supposed to get all the belts at 160. dude, stop trolling man. go watch golfers complain about which clubs they should acquire for said tournament.
