How does a loss shorten your career? It's how you get up not how you get knocked down.
Coming back from a devastating loss is a trust testament to greatness. Arguably more of a testament to greatness than never losing.
ATG's like Chavez, Sweet Pea, DLH took losses and kept pushing, kept dominating, kept creating a great legacy. Only a few fighters (Marciano, Floyd, Fury) can maintain a perfect record and take all challenges. But it shouldn't be the focus of your legacy as an active fighter, fighting the best win or lose should be your sole desire. The outcome, deal with that after the fight.Comment

heres the thing....THEY DONT NEED EACH OTHER !!!!!!
3g can go on beating up the sad sacks at mw (or if jacobs is legit)
alvy can go on fighting quality guys at jrmw and then ww's who outgrow ww
the other thing is, alvy is the $$$$$$ man
if 3g wants money, then HE needs alvy
if im alvy and i know im the a side, well then im gonna act like the a side. one does not become a boss just so he can take orders. thats just how life works.Comment
