Corrales fights like he wants to be Rigo... very similar movement, albeit not as fast or coordinated. Not a bad fight here...Would of preferred Salido though.... Hopefully they put this on the Manny undercard.

So the KO win was not something to be expected. Uchiyama getting stopped by a guy of Corrales' caliber tells us more about Uchiyama than it does corrales.

And what the hell does that last sentence even mean? Loma fought for 2 vacant titles and went 1-1. He ten beat Martinez, a fighter past his best but I can take that win. It was decent...but not actually special, considering Burns had already beaten a far better version. Unless Burns should be considered great too?

The only other established world class fighter Loma faced, he lost too. Loma supporters were telling me that he would face Salido next and that thats what Loma was talking about. Wheres that fight gone? Instead he fights a guy with one step up in his entire career?

Why not Vargas, Pedraza, Miura or Walters? Not only are they better known, they are better than Corrales. Can you give me one other world class opponent Corrales has beaten? Or has he done more in his career than the guys I just listed?

All of them are 130 pounders btw.
Well you know why not Walters or salido. They wanted more then they were gonna pay. So I'm guessing your not buying into the hype?

          Hype of what? Lomachenko?

My opinion on him is the same as any unproven fighter...that he is unproven. There is obvious skill there but nowhere near the way HBO like to present it or brainwashed fans like to think.

I'll rate Loma the same way I rate any fighter, after he beats top fighters. He has yet to do that.

I'll give a quick answer to all of that. I don't think Loma lost to Salido (officially yes) but it was a draw IMO. Walters already priced himself out. Salido too. Fact! Corrales style was the explanation i gave, if you don't like it fine. As for the KO's, was i incorrect in saying as he is maturing his KO ratio is increasing? No. This happens with fighters. Why not those guys you listed? Am i his promoter? I don't know, ask them.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that someone is picking apart Vasyls opposition rather than acknowledging that these men are all fighting a guy with a short pro career to date & 7 pro fights or less! Yet the onus is on Lomachenko here apparently. Call me when someone else is doing what Lomachenko is doing! I refer you back to & stand by my previous post:

The champion looked very confident thinking he was fighting someone with a low KO percentage but little did he know that Corrales has been knocking people out in the past 2- 3 years as his step up in class has increased! Most of his none KO fights are in the beginning of his career. Jezreel is the kind of fighter i like to watch, active, fast, going in there looking for the knockout. i also like how he ran away a bit the last few seconds of the first round, securing the round. Smart boxing.

Yes he may have been an ageing champion but i also think he struggled with the style of someone who fights so sharp one second & then so reckless and awkward the next to get the KO! Corrales may have been fortunate to get a champion on the out sure. But give credit to a guy who may be a little green & has never fought at that level & impressed too.

Be happy Lomachenko is on his FOURTH world title shot with only SEVEN fights under his belt bro
