5th didn't finish so doesn't count. 1st and 3rd it's not that far fetched to say Brook nicked them. Brook came back strong in the 1st and the 3rd was close.Comment

brook was badly hurt in the first. why would you give a close round to the badly hurt guy? and brook was dropped in the third. why would you give a close round to the guy who was dropped?Comment

I had GGG up 3-1 when it was stopped...the second Brook won but even watching that fight again Brook had a spurt for 10 seconds while GGG controlled the rest of the round... Brook gave it a great effort and deserves credit for going up and fighting the best middleweight in the world. No shame in the outcome for him.Comment

Badly hurt? He had a bit of a wobble, but he landed more clean punches throughout to make up for it. He wasn't dropped i didn't see him take a count did you?Comment

I had Brook up 3-1 at that point, soon to be 3-2. You could tell by how Golovkin fought that he didn't come to look pretty or even box to win rounds. He knew it would be easier to just bum rush & annihilate Brook.Comment

Wow,you're part armchair psychologist, physician, and omniscient future teller in one....😵Anybody who thinks that when Brook sat down after the second round knowing that the single punch that broke his face just cost him the fight (and be assured he knew)...that he was thinking he won that round and was celebrating...is a fool.
He fought the second with a surge of adrenaline after his orbital bone was broken (for which he will have surgery on this week) but once the round was over he knew it was just a matter of time before he'd get KO'd and let his corner know. He was standing there like a heavy bag for GGG to tee off on in the 5th and today admitted that his corner did the right thing in throwing in the towel. He got hurt bad in the 1st...hurt much worse in the 2nd with a punch that cost him the fight and maybe his career. He never had a chance.
I wish him the best but an orbital fracture is pretty serious and often ends careers either sooner or later. His vision and reactions are not likely going to ever be the same.Comment
