I would be more worried about the physical effect of breaking his orbital bone.

I thought he was nice and poised in there for the most part even when GGG was breaking his face.

That's more of a confidence booster if anything. I just hope he's fine, as in his eye.

... before speaking about the "psychological effect" it's about the long term medical effect we'd rather speak.

          Most definitely.

A lot of Khan comparisons have been made throughout the build up so I'm going to use one too: Khan got ktfo cold! But he did so after 3-4 very good rounds and he got credit all over the place. Everyone and their mother on twitter and so on came out saying how brave he was and that he did a good job. Even the most ardent bs racists on here had to admit the same.

With Brook, theres a few claiming he was brave etc but most are calling it a quit or a fix and this fight just didn't have the same mainstream appeal as Khan/Canelo.

Khan came out of that fight with a mando for Garcias belt and can still be in line for some big fights. Kell is going to do what? Especially when in his heart of hearts he knows he quit like a *****.

I doubt it. Physical effects more of a concern. Will take his body a long time to recover from that level of punishment.

it will have no effect because hes so delusional and thinks he would have won if it wasn't for a freak accident

I think there are all sorts of psychologically W's & L's one takes in a competitive world like boxing. So yea for sure there will be to Brook too. That said I think because he was a big dog & moved up two divisions here it'll be less of an impact cuz less was expected here & it was a move few take at all let alone win at.

I tend to agree with this. It'll be a harder or at least similar psychological thing to overcome I'd assume. I mean I think its at least a debatable subject that a broken orbital bone is among the worst injuries one can get while boxing that doesn't completely end your career so its gotta have a big impact on you.

I think it gave him more Confidence since he won 2 rounds and didn't get Khanned eventually he was going to get knocked out probably in that round or the 6th
