Canelo doesn't pressure effectively nor does he use his size to his advantage in that specific regard. Is not like he walks his opponents down lol, he breaks them down through a stylistic approach. He doesn't tie up and at times fights to his opponents advantages since he tries to box all the time, even when he should be pressuring his opponent because he's getting outboxed himself.
Im just saying GGG would come right to him and it would be a fight because everyone and thier momma knows that canelo has zero footwork. And im taking GGG all day in a firefight against canelo. Yeah i think canelo will have some success but will eventually get broken down.

It will pretty much be a battle of whos stronger and who can outbully who. And i dont think canelo can outbully GGG

Do you think Little G "let" Brook hit him with that punch in your sig?

I wonder if he'll "let" Canelo hit him with that punch.

Anything can happen. My opinion is that GGG wins if they fight at 2017, but I dont trust the judges. If they fight at 2018 or 2019 canelo would be favoured because of age.
That's not boxing works nor realistic. Take Kovalev for example. Stole Bhops belts at what age differences than Lil'G and Nelo?

You guys don't realize, Big Bear is wearing out Lil'G faster. He used to be faster.

This is why he hasn't moved ip. Nobody cares about sparring sessions because fighters aren't focused like a real bout as well as their intentions.

Canelo doesn`t have the energy or the mindset to throw enough punches to defeat Golovkin. He lands solid combinations and has underrated defensive skills, but he is a perfectionist. His punch output is too low. Make him work faster and he will get tired or he will commit mistakes. Golovkin's pace and rhythm are lethal.

Canelo can move his head all he wants, the body will still be there to be hit. And GGG has nasty body shots.

And by the way GGG is more methodical than fast. He doesnt need to be that fast to be effective, he gradually breaks guys down with pressure. Canelo will be easy for him simply because he wont go anywhere.
Dude..... you know your stuff man!!!!

Canelo is nowhere near as good as Golden Boy/HBO make out when they're trying to make him into the "face of boxing". He's very good, don't get me wrong but he's not an elite fighter.

I don't see anything in his skill set that allows him beat Golovkin. He might time the odd counter here and there and combination a la Brook, but Golovkin will get behind a stiff jab and break him down and Canelo will have nowhere to go with his flat feet.

Also whoever said "well when have you seen Canelo use his feet, he uses upper body movement" - Well exactly, the last thing you want with Golovkin is to be stood infront of him. Canelo can use his upper body movement all he likes but some shots will get through because Golovkin's punch selection is usually very good.

You may want to argue GGG is not elite going by his level of competition, but either way you're not beating him unless you are elite and Canelo is not. He's just very good.

Canelo is not skillfull enough to not be the bully in the fight. It's an awful style for him and that's why they vacated. They probably know more than everyone on this forum and they know what they're looking at.
