Saunders has nowhere to go as he is getting battered on social media. Do everyone in the division a favour and also yourself, give GGG his belt and the boogeyman will no longer worry the childish MW divison any longer.

the boogey man has no real competition at 160 if he keeps chasing the unification well never get our real ggg super fight unfortunately. besides him and jacobs is a better fight (which aint saying much granted) and its about to goto purse bid

Fantastic news if Saunders is playing it straight. I'm sure the WBA will allow a unification fight before Jacobs. IMO Saunders is the second best in the division so this would basically be the #1 & 2 middleweights in the world going at it to unify all the titles.

saunders is "safe" saying this because he plans on fighting next month and everyone knows GGG has the Nov 26 HBO slot, so BJS can run his mouth now and then claim that "they only wanted to give me 30 days to train" and blah blah blah......

honest question here: no possible way for hbo to change a date for such a star like ggg??
i just dont want ggg to fight another can or another welter and blame it on the date cuz saunders or jacobs arent available...

I hope him and Jacobs are serious. Ideally, those are Golovkin's next two opponents. Then maybe Canelo will be ready by fall next year.

Well TJ is #1 in IBF and Heiland is #1 in WBC. Both would be low cost mandatories. But I don't see the WBA allowing a step aside unless it's the BJS unification, and I don't see Golovkin or Jacobs vacating.

I actually meant to say eubank instead of lee considering that's who ggg was originally going to fight. hopefully its jacobs or bjs.

Would rather see Jacobs. Fight Jacobs asap, before GGG gets old. He can still beat Saunders when he's old. Jacobs could beat him if they wait until he's old.

It's a tentative date, if he fought in the UK next, they'd do another early show. November 26th is paired with Kovalev/Ward replay. Canelo was given December 10th, Golovkin could fight Saunders that same day and then you'd have a double header of GGG/BJS early and Canelo/? late.

And don't rule out the possibility of Golovkin being allowed to fight on PBC network. It's happened before (Pernell Whittaker was under HBO contract and allowed to fight on Showtime) and given their current financial restraints, it could happen again.
