I can imagine he felt under pressure to end the fight earlier, with Brook being the smaller guy. I don't think he respected Brook's power just decide to walk him down in such a manner.
Brooks a good counter puncher and has pretty fast hands..so i'd factor that also.

I'd expect him to face the likes of Canelo, Jacobs ect in the same manner as he fought Lem.

Golovkin is all about the power, he wouldn't beat Brook if didn't have his great punch. Not 1 out of 100 fights. But he has that kind of crazy power to win 100 out of 100 fights against Brook.

Golovkin got exposed for being a stumbling caveman, even he graded his performance badly and Abel was practically in shambles in the corner. He's sweet pea Golovkin,tho.
