When the fight first got announced I was a little mad as I thought it was a cash grab. Brook stood toe to toe with Golovkin. He really gave it everything. There was no shame in that performance at all. One of the most exciting fights I've seen in a while. Massive credit to Brook for going in there and going out on his shield with an injury that should have been stopped by the doctors (trapdoor blowout fracture - hurts like hell trapped nerves and muscles in the broken bone, NOT the same blowout type margarito and malignaggi had).

Brook has gone up a level in my books with that performance.

Yes it's worse in terms of incapacitating a fighter. Margs and Malignaggi were not blinking and did not have the droopy upper lip which is a sign the nerve and muscle has become trapped. I believe Kell had it worse than them.

How is it that Margarito ended up with the fcuked up eye and recurrent problems during fights while Malignaggi seemed unscathed?

Will Brook have a Margo-like weakness now? (I'm assuming you have some medical experience)
