He wouldn't fight the same way against Alvarez, just like he didn't with any big punchers he has fought. I've never been one of the "Alvarez has no chance" people, but the Brook fight really shouldn't be changing minds. It was a joke fight that Golovkin treated like a joke fight.

I was hugely surprised by Cuadras's stamina. Dude took Gonzalez's best and was still moving energetically at the final bell. The fight ended up close and competitive because he simply had more left than Gonzalez down the stretch. Hell of a fight. Gonzalez looked incredible early, but I wonder if he wasted too much energy in the first half of the fight thinking he would wear Cuadras down. That approach backfired on him.
    Exactly....

Brook-Golovkin, I learned that Brook's questionable chin was more due to making '47, that doesn't mean he's a MW though, it's a long process to build yourself to a division and 160 is one of those weights he can only flirt with. 154 is more ideal and even that's a process.

Just saying though...Brook, even despite that, was pretty damn live. For as long as it lasted anyway.
Brook weighed half a pound more than GGG and he looked just as lean as GGG with no extra body fat at all. I don't see where this supposed size advantage for GGG is. I think he won because he is a better fighter who hits harder and take a punch better, not because of a size advantage that never showed up on the scales that don't lie. Brook will need to dry out plenty even to make 154. He was a lean looking 167 a week before the fight compared to 162 for GGG a week before the fight. Size advantage for GGG? I don't think so.

Its because size isnt all about weight.

          Sounds counter intuitive i know.

GGG has the larger frame. He is naturally much stronger. His skeleton can support more muscle mass much more effectively than Brooks can, and his respiratory system can keep his body supplied with oxygen much more efficiently than Brooks can at that weight.

With modern nutrition and maybe some PEDs brook could bulk himself to pretty much whatever weight he wants, but it wouldnt mean he is stronger than someone who is naturally that size

Do you actually listen to interviews or just suck Khan's ****? Brook said he wanted to win or get knocked out. He was unhappy with the stoppage. So what are you even talking about

                2. Roman Gonzalez, at his absolute best (As he was last night in rounds 1-3) is the slickest, in pocket fighter, switching between attack and defense on the planet.

                3. Cuadras is damn good and very strong. He took RG into deep waters like no one before. Cuadras v Inoue would be very interesting.

                4. Gonzalez has a heck of a chin and real heart. He can swim in choppy waters.

                5. Brook allowed himself to quit in the biggest fight of his career. Now he will get beat up by any of the top 5 light middles, which imo are the Charlos, Andrade, Canelo and probably Lara.
I don't think Brook's chin is that good. GGG had him seconds away from a KO when the fight was stopped. Brook had a good defense and GGG had an off night. Still, every time Brook was hit with a clean hard punch he was hurt. I think Brook can beat the lighter punching Charlo brother. The bigger punching Carlo brother, Andrate and Canelo all most likely knock him out. Lara is more of a boxer and a runner than a hard puncher. Brook might beat Lara. Anyway Brook is going to fight at 154 so we should find out soon how good he is at that weight.

Based on what? His inability to hurt GGG or knock down Porter. Or the fact that GGG hurt him badly with every clean power punch that he landed and had him seconds away from a KO when the towel came in? Canelo, ,Andrate and Jacobs all knock Brook out. Brook would have his hands full with Spence, Cotto, Lara, Saunders, Eubank, Jermall Charlo and a few other top guys.

Brooks stock fell faster last night than Hillary Clinton in NY.

Brook in his corner wanted the fight to be stopped. Roy Jones saw that, probably thought how pathetic. Hopkins himself seemed annoyed that Brook didn't protest the stoppage much and now, literally an update from skysports or boxing news online via fb that Brook just said Dominic was right in stopping.
