That's the reason why I said that Brook would've been able to continue longer if it wasn't for the eye, he was probably going to get stopped due to accumlation of punishment by a bigger man and exhaustion due to movement with the extra weight and his punches taking more out of him that out of the bigger man. Brook proved that he has quite a chin at 160 lbs. I've seen him get seriously hurt and knocked down at 147 before but it was surprising he didn't go down against GGG.

Brook did well. He was getting tagged, but he was also finding the rhythm of his defense. I was surprised how well he was countering. He stopped countering in the last round, but was still being good defensively.

Id actually like to see a rematch, it was a classic UK too early stoppage where there are unanswered questions, because some of Brooks punches bothered GGG if he admit it or not, we all saw him get rocked by the uppercut and grab on.

GGG would have probably closed it out, but we will never know now because they pulled Brook out early.
Yes, this is pretty much how I see it, although I don't think they pulled him out early. Brook might never be the same after this fight. If it went one more round his career would be over.

Gennady didn't look quite his usual self before, during and after the fight.

Not sure about the rematch. I can't see Brook doing anything more than what he already did, and it wasn't even close enough to beat one of the poorest performances by Gennady.

The fight I would love to see is GGG-DeGale. That is a real 50:50 fight IMO.

... Brook was very valiant -- which helped GGG provide some 'drama show' for that splendid U.K public...

(You know that GGG intends to came back in the U.K. asap -- Hearn knows his promotion business at large scale and the purses are really big...)

Nah, Brook would have been worn down in the end.

No, I only gave him round 2 which was still close. He did well but Golovkin was landing more as the rounds progressed.

No, he didn't have the power to keep him away, it was just a matter of time

Brook took too many shots and was finished before the Towel came in anyway. He simply couldn't keep GGG of him and eventually he would have been brutally stopped.

The eye injury was really a blessing for Brook. Now he and his fans will try to say he was coming on strong and would have won without the eye injury. He couldn't handle GGG's power and accuracy and would get KO within 6 rounds every time even if they fought a dozen times. If the fight hadn't been stopped he would have been knocked down and out in a few seconds anyway. His trainer didn't stop the fight because of the eye injury. He stopped the fight because Brook was taking too many hard head punches and was about to be knocked out. If the eye injury was the reason for the stoppage then he wouldn't have let Brook come out for the start of the 5th round. If Brook's eye was never injured he still would have been KOed in round 5 in my opinion.

I disagree, From watching it last night I saw a fighter in between the 4/5 who didn't want to continue because he knew he couldn't win. His team just did him the favour

Of course he's going to act like he wanted to continue but I don't think he did
