I just rewatched the fight on tube, and it wasn't nearly as bad as it looked on live TV. Golovkin took foot off the has in 1st. After wobbling him, he tried to finish him off, failed, then just stopped trying for 30 seconds.. Just let himself be hit. I can see him thinking "alright, I'm not knocking him out this round, so let's add some ****e to this".

In second and third, aka the Brook rounds, he stood there and covered up. 90% of those shots he expected to take. Throughout the fight, there were only 3 or 4 big shots Golovkin didn't see coming. A lot hit his gloves.

I also missed a lot of Golovkins jabs. He obviously didn't fight behind the jab, but he did throw a lot of them, and they still are unstoppable.

And Brook was touching his eye a lot. Definitely missed that on the live stream. He's tough though. Brook got hit with some hard shots and he took them well. Let's hope he didn't get too damaged, because he's got a solid career ahead of him.

Saw the same thing, Golovkin has a beautiful jab, every opponent has such a flustered expression after it connects and it snaps heads back.

GGG did get exposed. Should vulnerability against a welterweight. Even got rocked by one. Ward would had completely destroyed GGG. No wonder GGG took the duck route against Ward.

It was the most money he ever made and he wasn't going to win fans over regardless of if he won onesided or not. If he won one sided "Brook was undersized and outmatched." And when Brook's speed helps him put up a fight for a couple rounds "Hes an exposed bum. Face first brawler!"
