    Brook was simply too small

Brook was the superior boxer, but his bone structure wasn't big and dense enough stand up to that power. The first good shot Golovkin landed broke his eye socket. Anytime Golovkin touched Brook, Brook risked getting his ribs or jaw broken.

If was only a matter of time. If the fight wasn't stopped Brook could have been seriously damaged.

Yes. Golovkin tried boxing Brook in round 2 and lost, he switched to brawling in round 3 using his size advantage.

Weird,I saw Brook as the bigger guy. Bigger legs, bigger arms, better muscle definition... Too bad GGG just hits harder... That's the essence of boxing ... Size is a lame excuse for that one... Strength would be more appropriate...

It had nothing to do with size, it had to do with Golovkin hitting him in the face with stiff jabs for 5 rounds and battering him with right hands against the ropes.

          oh he's small now?

thought he was the same size?

          make your minds up

ggg had no respect for brook, it didnt even look like ggg had a gameplan, was just looking for one punch

even after the fight he said brook doesnt hit hard, and it was only a matter of time he gassed...which he did

brook is a headhunter, he doesnt invest in the body, ggg taxed his body from round 1 and by round 5 his work paid off

that beating brook took may have ruined him forever

Yep. The natural size difference was key. He was the much better boxer.

Once Golovkin started using his jab consistently it was the beginning of the end. That played a big part in controlling Brook in the last 2 or 3 rounds. Brooks head was getting snapped back from the jab and he was getting backed into the ropes where Golovkin would unleash his power shots. At the beginning of the fighting GGG didn't use the jab that much. He just came straight ahead looking for the knockout.

It seems like he changed his game plan a little bit once he seen how Brook survived getting hurt and coming back strongly. He probably also realized he was missing a ton of big power shots and knew that he had to set them up instead of just winging like a wild caveman.

The jabs had Golovkin's weight behind him genius.
