Can Kell Be Competitive at 160?

I mean he gave Golovkin quite a good go. Certainly had success in spots. Now the size in the end did play into effect. Yes essentially they came in close the same size, but one was used to that weight, the other wasn't. However, he was fighting the best middle weight on the planet, and certainly other career middle weights have not done as well as he did against triple G.

So, should he stay at 160? I do personally believe 154 would be a better division for him but ofcourse the choice will be Kell's.

I'd say he should hit up 154 for a few fights at least. I think he could do some major damage there. And Canelo-Brook is probably coming...

Not 160, he's not strong enough. 154 I see him schooling Canelo pretty easily though. Golovkin is just too good for anyone in the sport right now.

I think he would be competive but he wouldn't be winning titles. BJS would probably outpoint him for example.

Yes, but when GGG retires, gets old or moves up, until then competitive will be fighting among the contenders for title shots.

He should go to 154,and win a few titles then gradually move up. No way he should be going back down to 147. He was a huge ww, and going back down now will kill his body.

Size disadvantage will always catch up to him.

Brook said in the post fight interview that it would be best for him to stay at 154.

May be not.. The fights are 12 rounds and he cannot keep that momentum for all 12.. Brook can dominate WW being genuinely big and may be even JrMW to a certain extent, but JrMW is a good division to be in like LHW and CW..
