  • As Bradley stated, Alvarez beats Golovkin

As the highlights video of Ouma vs Golovkin, it's the one fight in Gennady's resume where he got lit up by uppercuts... be it Ouma's speed and defense, and Ouma was a 154 pounder, champ.

We've seen Rosado, Monroe Jr., catch Lil'G with uppercuts.

NOW, Alvarez uses REACH with uppercuts, and the point is, Alvarez cracks harder than any of Lil'G's former opponents.

As we saw today, Brook caught Lil'G with uppercuts too. When Technical fighters state how other technical fighters will do, yes, Bradley is correct, Alvarez will beat Golovkin.

HBO tried to get Golovkin to admit that there was a problem with his weight or drained but Golovkin refused to acknowledge it, all due to his performance against special K.

Alvarez is no Floyd Mayweather. He's not better technically than GGG. GGG CHOSE to get into a dogfight tonight. He will fight more cautiously against Canelo (at first).. Eventually Canelo will allow himself to be dragged into a fight. And which point, Canelo will simply not be able to match GGG power for power shot. Canelo has a great chin though, and so does GGG, which makes it such an intriguing fight if they do get into a dogfight.

Also, if Canelo does manage to outbox GGG in the early rounds, GGG will surely start to apply a ton of pressure. GGG will force a fight before Canelo will, and Canelo does not have the legs or movement to keep GGG off of him for 12 rounds without getting into a brawl. Maybe only Floyd or Lara could do that....Now, once they start getting into serious exchanges which is inevitable, I think GGG will get the better of him... This will be an incredibly brutal fight because both guys have great chins...so I see the ref stopping the fight for Canelo eventually.

Bradley said he couldn't believe how slow GGG was.

Floyd said straight up and down. No special effects.

Loeffler said Lara should fight somebody else and Ward isn't a big draw.....

Alvarez is a joke, a total mexican hypejob that failed to live up to expectations, Golovkin would run through him in 4-5 rounds.

Golovkin walked through his punches on purpose. Instead of dragging this thing out like I believe Kovalev would as he did against Pascal in their rematch, Golovkin brought those strong jabs and came in blazing and gave the fans a show.

Against Canelo, he won't be as open. Lemieux and Stevens never landed anything big on him. Canelo won't either. Golovkin will establish his jab and wear Canelo down before going in for the kill. Canelo will make it interesting with his punch selection and give Golovkin somethings he's never seen which will make it interesting. In the end, Canelo goes down, though, most likely a towel being thrown in like tonight. He's a future star and they won't let him get hurt.

You seem to forget that Alvarez is SUPERIOR in skill than Monroe Jr., Rosado, Brook, etc... PLUS, he's BIGGER and STRONGER!

Alvarez vs Cotto was an A game fight of skill from both.

Hence, 155 catch against Alvarez, Lil'G, as you guys saw tonight, would get destroyed. If Golovkin is still at 160 when Alvarez meets, it's an easy fight for Alvarez.

I'd honestly can't wait to see Alvarez speed match Brook. And all of his super uppercuts.
...Or when he realizes his defense to offensive transitioning isn't as good as Brooks and he's eating left hook after left hook.

I think he realizes that aspect though-- hence dropped the championship belt, didn't bother signing anything or have anything to do with Golovkin.

I like GGG but he's grossly overrated on this forum. I think Canelo has the potential to outbox him if/when they fight. The only issue i see Canelo having is his cement feet. He will need to put his combinations together and whether you like him or not, he's one of best combination punchers in the sport. He will need to push GGG back in spots while mixing in lateral movement.

GGG is very skilled when he wants to be. And he will display that skill in a Canelo fight. Canelo does not posses greater punching power than GGG, period. If you're saying Canelo is physically stronger (like can lift more weight or something...maybe...but Canelo's natural strength as a big stalky guy doesn't transfer to a punch as big as GGG's) And GGG would of put Cotto out, unlike Canelo.
